My name is James, and I'm from Toronto, Ontario. I came to Osaka in March of 2008 to start work as an English teacher, and my employer put me in contact with Apollo before I arrived. They gave me instructions on how to use the train station at the airport, and on the day I arrived, even though my plane had arrived 4 hours late, someone from Apollo met me at a station in the city and drove me to my new place. To help get me settled, they showed me around the neighborhood a little bit, and gave me a map of the immediate area. The apartment is small but comfortable. A year or so ago, they added a high speed internet connection at no extra cost, which was great! The area is clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The walls are not so well insulated, so heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer is a bit expensive, but that's pretty common for Japanese buildings. It's always easy to get in contact with someone from Apollo if there's a problem, and they take care of things quickly. It's nice to have an English speaking landlord.

For more than a year now, I've been living in an Apollo Properties apartment. Moving from Shikoku up to Kansai, it would have been extremely challenging to take my couch, my TV and my various tables. Fortunately, the kind people at Apollo provided me with all those things and more. On top of that, they went as far as to accommodate my fashion sense by switching out the retro style love seat for a more contemporary one. They even swapped the microwave oven for one that had an oven function. And when I asked if my rent would change if my girlfriend were to move in with me, I was told with a smile "the only thing that will change is [my] life." I think what's truly been impressive to me though is the ease in which I am able to contact Mr. Bennett and the quickness with which he responds. When I e-mailed Apollo to tell them my hot water was on the fritz, I received a repl y within the hour and the next day there was a man at my house to investigate the situation. From the moment we arrived in Japan, Apollo Properties made sure that we were picked up safely and comfortable in our new Japanese setting.

We were placed in an apartment in Daikokucho and we would not have choosen to live anywhere else. The location is incredible, a fifteen minute walk from Namba (which is one of the biggest areas in Osaka). The apartment was also located within a very close walking distance to the JR Loop Line and two major subway lines.

We loved our apartment and never had any issues with Apollo Properties. As we never needed them to come into our apartment to fix or replace items, we heard from others that Apollo Properties were there within a day to help with whatever was requested. The rent payment was very straightforward and it was easy to process every month at the bank with step by step instructions.

I rented an apartment in Osaka from Apollo Properties from April 2008 until October 2009. I am from New York City, New York, USA. I arrived in Osaka, Japan in March 2008 as a pilot based at Kansai airport. This was my first time in Japan and I had no previous experience with the Japanese language. A colleague of mine recommended I contact Apollo Properties to locate an apartment. They have English speaking staff as well as Japanese.

My experience with Apollo Properties was excellent. I was looking for an apartment near the Namba area for a short term lease to begin. Initially, Apollo Properties set me up with an apartment for a three night stay in Daikokucho (at a much less expensive price than local hotels) so I could look around the area and they could show me the available properties. After consulting with them, they showed me 5 apartments based on my criteria. The apartment I rented for the 3 night stay is the apartment I decided to rent for a 3 month lease. The 3 month lease eventually turned into 1.5 years. The Daikokucho apartment is ideally located. The Midosuji subway stop is only a 3 minute walk. There are 2 grocery stores, a convenience store, laundry facilities/dry cleaner, and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Namba is only 1 stop north on the subway or you can easily walk to the area in 10 minutes or less. Being close to Namba was ideal for me because of the multitude of restaurants, nightlife, and Rapit-B high speed train which runs to Kansai airport every half hour.

I highly recommend Apollo Properties for your apartment needs in Osaka. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as a large selection of apartments in the Osaka area. I recently moved to Tokyo as I am now based at Narita airport. If I return to Osaka in the future I will definitely call upon Apollo Properties for my apartment needs.

Moving to a foreign country can be a very daunting and stressful experience.

However the housing side of it was made easy by Apollo Properties. We were met by Apollo when we first arrived and given a tour of the area (supermarkets, restaurants etc.) before heading to our new home.

Our apartment was much bigger than we expected and of high quality. New tatami mats were fitted before we moved in so it felt clean and new. We loved our apartment for the size and the location (2 stops to Namba or a 10 minute bike ride). We have never had any problems with the apartment and when we had questions they were answered promptly by Apollo.
